So I'm sort of a vegetarian. I certainly don't eat anywhere near the amount of meat that an average American does.
But I still eat meat when it's served to me, or once in a while when I just feel like it. There's a term for this - flexitarian - that I don't think anybody actually likes. But it's useful to have a word to describe things, even if it's a dumb word.
I don't really like meat most of the time; so I don't eat it. There are plenty of reasonable environmental arguments to be made for reducing meat consumption as well, so that's a bonus. As long as I can have bacon once in a while, I'm ok.
